Prof. James Calloway teaches modern history at University College London. He has appeared on Strange Moments in History to discuss the hollow earth movement, Alexander Bogdanov, and the operational realities of Cold War intelligence.
His research focuses on the intersection of technology, politics, and unintended consequences — the moments when a system designed to do one thing produces an entirely unexpected result. He is the author of two books on the history of scientific credibility.
